An annual Scholarship is being established in honor of Doug for deserving students at Mt. Carmel High School, Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, California.
Doug and Linda's children, Jason and Kristen, attended Mt. Carmel. Doug was a charter member of the San Diego North Rotary Club and served in numerous capacities with the club, including Secretary and Director of Vocational Services several times. Doug taught Business English and Mathematics at Palomar College for many years and had a special place in his heart for students who pursued additional schooling and training.
